Detectives say no victim found at scene, incident believed to be isolated
Towson, MD – Baltimore County police are investigating a shooting in Towson after a man arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound shortly after officers responded to the scene.
Officers were called just before 3 p.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Southerly Road, where they located evidence that a shooting had occurred. No victim was found at the location at the time.
Victim later located at hospital
“A short time later, detectives learned that a 38-year-old male had walked into an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound,” police said.
Investigators believe the incident is isolated and does not pose an ongoing threat to the public.
