BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. – Baltimore County homicide detectives are renewing their appeal for information in the killing of 16-year-old Charles Anderson, who was shot in the Catonsville area in April 2025.

Anderson was killed at about 2:10 p.m. on April 13, 2025, in the 4400 block of Alan Drive, police said. More than a year later, detectives are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.

Police issued a fresh request for tips Sunday but did not announce an arrest or identify a suspect.

Detectives Ask Public to Come Forward

The department released few additional details about the investigation, including what detectives believe led to the shooting or whether Anderson was targeted.

The renewed appeal focuses on finding anyone who may know something about what happened that afternoon. Even information that was not previously reported could help detectives as they continue reviewing the case.

Anyone with information about Anderson’s killing can contact Baltimore County Police at 410-887-4636. Tips can also be submitted through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.
