Baltimore PD Probe Discovery of Dead Body in Vacant Property

BALTIMORE, MD – An investigation is underway after a body was discovered yesterday morning in Eastern Baltimore.

Patrol officers of the Baltimore Police Department responded to a report of a body discovered in a vacant home located in the 3600 block of Belair Road. The call came in at approximately 9:50 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified deceased individual inside the property. The circumstances surrounding the person’s death were not immediately clear.

The body was subsequently transported to the Medical Examiner’s office. There, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death and to assist in the identification of the victim.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide Detectives have taken over the investigation and are actively seeking information from the public.
