Mekhi Green, a Baltimore resident, is accused of shooting a 22-year-old male in the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenue in Southwest Baltimore on February 26, 2024. Following his arrest, Green was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges of attempted first-degree murder.

The incident initially came to police attention on the evening of February 26, when officers were dispatched to Edmondson Avenue to investigate a shooting report. At the scene, they found evidence of gun violence and were soon alerted to a walk-in shooting victim at a nearby hospital. The victim, an unidentified male, was found suffering from numerous gunshot wounds, highlighting the severity of the crime.
