Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect in Stolen Vehicle Incident

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 27-year-old man was arrested by Baltimore Police on Thursday morning after officers discovered him in a stolen vehicle in the city’s Western District. According to a statement from the Baltimore Police Department, the arrest occurred around 9:15 a.m. on August 29, 2024, during a proactive enforcement operation conducted by detectives from the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce (RATT).

The detectives were patrolling the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when they noticed a parked vehicle that had been reported stolen. Upon further inspection, they found the suspect seated in the driver’s seat. The officers were able to apprehend the individual without incident.

The suspect was subsequently transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.
