Baltimore police investigate Eastern District shooting

BALTIMORE — A 57-year-old man was injured in a shooting early Friday morning in the city’s Eastern District, police said.

Officers responded to the 2700 block of East Federal Street around 12:54 a.m. for reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
