Baltimore Police Investigate Late-Night Shooting in South Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting that left a 26-year-old man injured late Saturday night. The incident occurred on August 24, 2024, at approximately 11:56 p.m.

Officers responded to a local hospital after receiving a call about a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The man is currently listed in stable condition.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting took place in the 2400 block of Sidney Avenue, located in South Baltimore. Detectives from the Southern District have taken over the investigation and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
