Baltimore Police Investigate Walk-In Shooting at Area Hospital

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police were called to an area hospital on the evening of July 28, 2024, around 8:25 PM, following reports of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 48-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, whose identity has not been released, is currently in stable condition. Preliminary findings indicate that the shooting occurred on the 800 block of West Fayette Street.

Detectives from the Southwest District Shooting division have taken over the investigation. They are currently gathering evidence and seeking witnesses to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting. The police urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in their ongoing investigation.
