Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 20-year-old woman from Randallstown, Maryland, has been arrested following a bank robbery in Glen Burnie. The incident occurred at the PNC Bank on 7301 Ritchie Highway at approximately 12:40 PM on July 12, 2024.

The suspect, identified as Di’Amani Ta’Lia Jones, approached a bank teller, implied she had a weapon, and demanded cash. The teller complied, placing the money in a black bag which was then handed to Jones. Following the robbery, another bank employee activated the hold-up alarm, alerting the authorities.

A responding officer spotted a possible suspect shortly after in a gold Mercury vehicle near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Kuethe Road. Jones was positively identified, found in possession of the stolen money, and promptly arrested.

Jones has been charged with the robbery and is currently undergoing legal proceedings.
