Belgian tourist slashed in the face at Manhattan subway station

New York, NY- the New York City Police Department today set a 30-year-old Belgian tourist was slashed in the face during an attack at a subway station in Chelsea. The incident took place as the victim was walking down the stairs at the West 23rd Street and 8th Avenue subway station at around 8:43 am.

According to police, the woman was attacked by four unknown individuals. During the attack, one of the suspects pulled a sharp object and slashed her in the face. The group fled in an unknown direction before police and first responders arrived.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
