Around 6 p.m. on Union Avenue, a large tree fell on top of an SUV, trapping the driver inside. The woman, driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee, was alert and conscious when emergency crews removed the tree and transported her to the hospital for medical treatment.

Today, the woman visited the Belleville Police Department to personally thank the officers for their swift response. The department expressed their gratitude for her recovery and appreciation for her visit, which lifted the spirits of the entire team.
