Bensalem Police Nab Suspect in Theft After Car Spotted on Video

Bensalem, PA – Surveillance video obtained by the Bensalem Police a day after the theft pointed to the involvement of a white Kia Optima with front-end damage.

Via surveillance footage and Automated License Plate Readers, the authorities identified the suspect vehicle’s owner and a male named Christopher Plytas, who had been linked to previous incidents involving the same Kia Optima.

Christopher Plytas, 43, was identified as the perpetrator who stole the cash from the vehicle.
