BETHLEHEM, PA- The Lower Saucon Fire and Rescue team responded to mitigate an oil spill reported early on Friday morning. “Unknown suspects intentionally dumped several gallons petroleum product (oil, diesel fuel, etc.) into several storm drains, onto the roadway in the intersection of Bingen Road and Reading Drive and in the grassy areas nearby,” investigators said. “An environmental contractor was also contacted for clean-up”.
Residents in the area with security cameras have been asked to view them for anything suspicious. Locals that have information or that witnessed any suspicious activity are asked to contact the Lower Saucon Township Police Department at 610-759-2200 or submit an anonymous tip through their Crimewatch Tipline.
