$200K winning Cash 5 ticket sold in Chester County at Valley Forge Freedom

SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth $200,000 after matching all five numbers in the December 1 Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, marking a major jackpot win for a small store in Chester County.

The winning ticket was sold at Valley Forge Freedom, located at 1870 Valley Forge Road in Schuylkill Township. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn — 1, 8, 10, 15, and 24 — securing the full jackpot amount before taxes. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The identity of the winner remains unknown until the prize is claimed and validated by the Pennsylvania Lottery. Players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Quick Cash prizes must also be claimed within one year of the ticket purchase date.

In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 10,000 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also earned prizes in the same drawing. Lottery officials urge all players to check their tickets carefully and to redeem lower-tier winnings at any authorized retailer.

The Pennsylvania Lottery continues to remind players of its participation in the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Gift Responsibly Campaign, which highlights the importance of not gifting lottery products to children during the holiday season.
