BJ’s shopper in Abingdon snags final $287K FAST PLAY jackpot

ABINGDON, MD — A FAST PLAY fan in Harford County struck it big this week, winning $287,056 on a jackpot ticket purchased at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Abingdon.

The winning ticket, part of the Wild Bonus X10 progressive jackpot game, was sold on November 12 at the store located on Constant Friendship Boulevard. This win marked the final jackpot for the $10 Wild Bonus X10 game, which launched in July 2023 and is now officially closed after this top prize was claimed.

For its part in the sale, BJ’s Wholesale Club will receive a retailer bonus of $287.05, Maryland Lottery officials said.

The Lottery encourages the winner to sign the back of their ticket immediately and keep it in a safe place. The prize must be claimed within 182 days, either in person at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore or by mail. Winners of prizes over $25,000 are required to schedule an appointment to claim their prize at the Montgomery Park Business Center on Washington Boulevard.

The Wild Bonus X10 game offered players the chance to win instantly with a progressive jackpot that grew with each ticket sold. This latest jackpot win caps off the game, which has seen players across Maryland take home significant prizes.
