BALTIMORE, Md. — A death investigation is underway in Northwest Baltimore after a body was found inside a burning vehicle on Bonnie View Drive. Police and fire personnel responded to the 5900 block on Saturday night, following reports of an active vehicle fire.
Once firefighters extinguished the flames, they discovered a deceased individual inside the vehicle. The remains, still unidentified, were transported to the Medical Examiner’s office, where investigators will work to confirm the victim’s identity and determine the cause of death.
Baltimore’s Crash Team detectives are leading the investigation and are looking into the circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities.
