WARREN, N.J. – A bomb threat discovered inside a bathroom at Warren Middle School Friday afternoon prompted a full police response and building search before authorities determined there was no credible danger to students or staff, officials said.

The threat was reported around 2:30 p.m. on December 19 after school administrators notified the Warren Township Police Department. Officers, joined by units from the Somerset County and Middlesex County Sheriff’s Offices, conducted an extensive search of the school and surrounding property.

Following the investigation, police confirmed that no explosive devices or suspicious items were found. Students were dismissed safely, and no injuries were reported.

“The safety of students, staff, and the Warren Township community remains our top priority,” Chief of Police Robert Ferreiro said in a statement. The department continues to investigate the origin of the threat and is asking anyone with information to contact police at 908-753-1000 or submit a tip anonymously through warrenpolice.com.
