Boston Police Identify Victim in Fatal Amory Terrace Stabbing

BOSTON, MA—Boston Police Department has confirmed the identity of the victim in the Amory Terrace homicide as Daniel Coke, 45, of Jamaica Plain. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, August 4, when officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were called to the scene at 10 Amory Terrace following reports of a stabbing.

Upon their arrival at approximately 4:42 AM, police found Coke suffering from a stab wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
