Brick Community Theater Nemo Video Goes Viral on TikTok with 4.5 Million Views

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – A video clip posted to TikTok by the Brick Children’s Community Theater has gone viral after being viewed 3.5 million times in its first 24 hours online. The video shows a Toms River child actor holding a puppet of Nemo from the Disney Movie Finding Nemo, singing the “Where’s My Dad?” song.

The video was a preview of the Finding Nemo performances to be held August 4-7 at Ocean County College. BCCT is a non-profit, community theater group dedicated to the children of Ocean and Monmouth counties.

The video has become a TikTok viral video, reaching 4.5 million views by Friday morning.

The video stars Domenic Innarella and Nemo is his third production with BCCT. He also previously performed as Bert in Mary Poppins at his school. He attends Toms River Intermediate East.

“He’s an amazing singer and actor and loves what he does,” said his mom Marie.

The video is based on the scene in the movie where Nemo, angry at his father, fled the reef and became lost.

BCCT, which originated in 1992, was founded by a mother-daughter team passionate about theater and dedicated to sharing this love with the children of Ocean and Monmouth counties. Over the years, BCCT has flourished, earning the adoration of the local community and becoming the most cherished theater group in the region.

The show will be performed at the Grunin Center for the Arts, located at Ocean County College. On August 4th, there will be a show at 7:00 p.m., followed by two shows on August 5th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. There will also be a showing at 2 p.m. on August 6.

The Box Office is open from Tuesday to Friday, from Noon until 5:00 p.m., and it will also open 60 minutes before showtime.
