BRONX, NY – Enrique Guerrero, a 20-year-old resident of the Bronx, faces multiple serious charges including second-degree attempted murder and first-degree criminal use of a firearm. Guerrero, who resides at 190 West 170 Street, is also charged with three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a firearm.
In a separate but related incident, the New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a reckless endangerment event that occurred within the 44th Precinct. It was reported that on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at around 6:15 PM, an unidentified male fired multiple shots in the area of East 174 Street and Morris Avenue. The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound on East 174 Street. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported in this incident.
The suspect in question is described as a male with a medium complexion, around 5’8″ tall with a slim build. He was last observed wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black and red sweatpants, and red sneakers. Anyone with information about this individual or the incident is urged to contact the NYPD to assist with their ongoing investigation.
