Bronx man fatally stabbed on Third Avenue, police investigating

BRONX, N.Y. – A 53-year-old man was fatally stabbed Monday afternoon outside a building on Third Avenue, police said.

According to the NYPD, officers responded at approximately 1:59 p.m. to a 911 call reporting a stabbing in front of 3077 Third Avenue, within the 40th Precinct. When officers arrived, they found the victim, identified as George Ennin of Brook Avenue, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds across his body.

Emergency medical personnel transported Ennin to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made, and police said the investigation remains ongoing.
