Bronx store sells winning TAKE 5 ticket

BRONX, NY – The New York Lottery announced that a top-prize winning ticket for the Dec. 21 TAKE 5 MIDDAY drawing was sold in the Bronx, making one lucky player $18,873.50 richer.

The winning ticket was purchased at Karma Liquors, located at 1004 Morris Park Avenue, a popular spot in the neighborhood.

TAKE 5 draws are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery encourages players to check their tickets closely, as thousands of prizes are awarded in each TAKE 5 drawing.
