Brook Park Resident Wins $10,000 on Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off

August 11, 2024

BROOK PARK, OH – Judy, a local resident of Brook Park, is celebrating a surprising win of $10,000 from the Ohio Lottery’s Bingo Times 25 scratch-off game.

During a routine check of her tickets using the Ohio Lottery app, Judy discovered what she initially thought was a $5 win was actually $10. But the real shock came with another ticket that she scanned. “It absolutely surprised the heck out of me,” Judy said, describing her reaction when the app revealed a $10,000 win. Despite her knack for predicting wins when scratching, this time she missed the signs until reviewing the ticket.

Judy’s winning ticket came from Smith & Snow Shell, located at 5918 Smith Rd in Brook Park. After the mandatory state and federal taxes, which total 28%, she will take home about $7,200.

With her winnings, Judy plans to save for a trip abroad next year. She also intends to allocate funds for minor car repairs and assist a close friend in need of financial support.

Bingo Times 25 offers a top prize of $100,000 and is priced at $5 per ticket. As of August 9, there are four top prizes still available.
