Brooklyn Man Dead After Being Rushed to Hospital With Multiple Gunshot Wounds

BROOKLYN, NY – Police were called to the scene of a shooting on Wednesday at 9:46 PM, following a distressing 911 report of a man shot at 538 East 84 Street. Responding officers found 30-year-old Chad Lewars suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

Emergency services rushed Lewars to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Despite efforts to save him, Lewars succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The shooting of Lewars, a resident of Queens, leaves behind unanswered questions as the authorities continue to investigate. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is tasked with determining the exact cause of death.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and police urge anyone with information to come forward.
