Brooklyn shop sells $150K Powerball winner as lucky ticket hits big
Brooklyn, NY — A Powerball ticket sold at a neighborhood shop in Brooklyn delivered a $150,000 prize following the April 20 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Isha Card Shop on Flatlands Avenue and matched enough numbers to secure a third-tier prize, boosted by the Power Play option.
Lottery officials said the Power Play feature multiplies non-jackpot winnings, increasing the payout for qualifying tickets.
The identity of the winner has not been released.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week, with numbers drawn from a pool of 69 white balls and a separate set of 26 red Powerball numbers.
