January 14, 2024

PITTSBURGH, PA – Deago Lee Eddings, a resident of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, received a 27-month prison sentence for a federal firearms conviction. United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan imposed the sentence, which will be served consecutively to Eddings’ current term for a state parole violation related to the same incident. In total, Eddings faces a minimum of 45 months in prison for his actions. Additionally, Judge Horan ordered a maximum three-year term of federal supervised release following his incarceration.

The federal firearms violation by Eddings occurred on September 16, 2020. At the time, he had recently completed a state sentence and was on state parole. Eddings, a convicted felon, admitted guilt in May 2023 for unlawfully possessing a firearm and ammunition. Under federal law, individuals with a felony conviction are prohibited from owning firearms.
