Bruins and Capitals take titles at PAL Street Hockey Championship

BENSALEM, PA — The Bensalem Township Police Department has announced the winners of the 2024 PAL Street Hockey Championship Games, held on November 13 at Community Park.

The Bruins, wearing light blue, emerged victorious in the Junior Division, while the Capitals, donning green, claimed the championship in the Senior Division. Both teams demonstrated skill and teamwork throughout the tournament, earning the top honors in their respective divisions.

The Police Athletic League (PAL) program has been a cornerstone of youth engagement in Bensalem, offering children an opportunity to participate in organized sports while fostering community relationships. The department extended its gratitude to the coaches who volunteered their time over the past few months to mentor and guide the young athletes.

“The coaches are the backbone of this program, and we thank them for their commitment to our youth,” the department stated in a release.

The PAL Street Hockey Championship continues to be a celebrated tradition, bringing together young athletes, families, and community members for an exciting conclusion to the season.

The Bruins and Capitals skated their way to victory, marking another successful season of PAL street hockey in Bensalem.
