Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Distributes Backpacks to Students in Need

Calvert County, MD – The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office has distributed backpacks filled with school supplies to local students through their “Shop with a Cop” program. This initiative aims to ensure students are well-prepared for the school year.

The program, led by Sgt. Robshaw, delivered backpacks to all six middle schools and thirteen elementary schools in Calvert County. Each elementary school received ten backpacks, while each middle school received five backpacks, which will be given to students in need.

This effort highlights the dedication of community donors and the commitment of the “Shop with a Cop” program to supporting students. For information on how to participate or contribute, contact Sgt. Robshaw at Mark.Robshaw@calvertcountymd.gov.
