CAMDEN, NJ — A Camden man has been arrested and charged in connection with two non-fatal shootings that occurred within a 10-hour span in Camden and Gloucester Township, authorities announced Thursday.

Kenneth W. Reddick, 29, was taken into custody near the scene of the Gloucester Township shooting and has been charged with multiple offenses, including two counts of attempted murder.

On Sunday, July 20, at approximately 8:44 p.m., a 48-year-old Camden man arrived at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives later determined the shooting occurred on the 1200 block of Lansdown Avenue in Camden.

Roughly nine hours later, at 5:33 a.m. on July 21, officers responded to a residence on the unit block of Brookshire Road in Gloucester Township, where a 34-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital in stable condition.

During the Gloucester Township response, officers detained Reddick, and investigators later connected him to both incidents.

Reddick faces two counts each of first-degree attempted murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree certain persons not to possess weapons. He also faces a third-degree charge of endangering the welfare of a child, as a one-year-old was present during the Gloucester Township shooting.

Reddick is being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
