Car crashes into New City Bagels & Deli in Clarkstown, no injuries reported

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. — A vehicle crashed into the front of New City Bagels & Deli on South Little Tor Road after the driver accidentally accelerated while attempting to park, Clarkstown Police said.

The incident occurred at 255 S. Little Tor Rd. and was reported on social media by the department. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

The Clarkstown Building Inspector and Fire Inspector also responded to the scene to assess any structural damage to the building. The extent of the damage has not been disclosed.

Authorities confirmed that the crash was accidental and no criminal charges have been announced.
