Car Thief Steals Rolls Royce As Woman Unpacking Groceries

BROOKVILLE, NY – A car theft occurred in Brookville on Friday, leading to a brief struggle between the vehicle owner and the assailant. Nassau County Police Robbery Squad Detectives report that at approximately 12:45 p.m., a 33-year-old woman parked her 2022 Rolls Royce in her driveway on Old Cedar Swamp Road and unloaded the vehicle when a man entered and attempted to steal it.

The suspect managed to take control of the vehicle after a struggle, driving away and dragging the owner several feet. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident. The vehicle was last seen fleeing in an unknown direction.

The assailant is described as a Hispanic male, about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 tall, with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black facemask. Nassau County Police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or to call 911. All callers will be kept anonymous.
