Carjacking Incident Under Investigation in Linthicum

LINTHICUM, MD—The Northern District detectives are currently investigating a carjacking that took place on April 16, 2024, around 11:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Progress Drive, Linthicum. The incident involved an adult male victim who was approached by an armed suspect while inflating his car tires.

The suspect, described as a Black male dressed in dark clothing, brandished a handgun and subsequently fled in the victim’s 2020 Ford F-150. The vehicle was last seen heading toward MD Route 295 on West Nursery Road. Despite immediate search efforts, both the suspect and the vehicle remain at large.
