**Chesapeake, VA** – On April 2, at approximately 7:34 p.m., Chesapeake Police responded to an incident involving a motor vehicle accident and a juvenile pedestrian at Bainbridge Blvd. and Holly Ave.

Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle and an 8-year-old male pedestrian involved in the accident. The child was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Stafford Man Arrested After Multi-County Search

**STAFFORD, VA** — A Colonial Beach man, wanted in three different jurisdictions, was arrested Wednesday in Stafford County. Allen Weathers, 46, was sought by the Street Crimes Unit for several felony probation violations.

Deputies identified Weathers at approximately 11:09 a.m. operating a bright red Chevy Blazer. The vehicle was located in the 800 block of Kellogg Mill Road, where deputies successfully intercepted Weathers.

Attempting to flee on foot, Weathers was quickly apprehended as he tried to escape to a nearby wooded area. Upon his arrest, deputies found suspected controlled substances on him and inside the vehicle.

Weathers was served with his outstanding warrants and taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, where he is being held without bond. Charges related to the controlled substances are pending.

Stafford pedestrian fatally struck on Cambridge Street

Fatal Accident on Cambridge Street

**Stafford, VA** – On Sunday at approximately 6:06 a.m., Deputy W.J. Walker responded to an auto accident in the 500 block of Cambridge Street. The caller initially reported a collision with a deer but upon arrival, Deputy Walker found an adult male with injuries lying on the ground.

Emergency services were quickly contacted, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of the vehicle involved was traveling northbound on Cambridge Street when the pedestrian, walking southbound, was struck. The driver remained at the scene, was not injured, and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The pedestrian was identified as 52-year-old Gregory Breeden from Stafford. The investigation into the crash remains active under Deputy Walker. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Deputy Walker at 540-658-4450.
