BROOKLYN, NY — On Wednesday at 11:00 AM, a 25-year-old female reported a theft after inadvertently leaving her cellphone on a bench at the Central Avenue subway station while boarding a northbound “M” train. An unidentified female with a light complexion was seen taking the phone without permission and then fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspect was wearing a white jacket, black pants, black sneakers, and a pink backpack. No injuries were reported following the incident. Authorities are seeking information on the suspect’s whereabouts.
