Cheapest Gas Prices in New Jersey New Jersey drivers find relief as gas prices drop below 50 at top stations statewide

TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey drivers are catching a break at the pump this week, as several stations across the state report gas prices dipping to some of the lowest levels in months. According to data from GasBuddy, Sunday’s top 10 cheapest gas stations in New Jersey are offering regular fuel between $2.41 and $2.45 per gallon.

Costco continues to dominate the list with several locations leading the state in affordability. The cheapest reported price Sunday was $2.41 per gallon at Costco in Bayonne. Close behind were BJ’s in Maple Shade at $2.41, and Gas and Diesel in Toms River at $2.43.

Other low-cost stations include multiple Costco locations in North Brunswick, Wayne, and Clifton, all averaging $2.45 per gallon. Additional stations matching that price include Exxon in Clifton, BJ’s in Linden, and Fuel 4 in Rahway.

Drivers across major counties — including Monmouth, Ocean, Bergen, and Middlesex — are reporting steady declines in average fuel prices over the past two weeks, reflecting a regional trend of post-holiday drops in demand.

With regular gas now averaging below $2.50 at several chains, New Jersey motorists are seeing some of the most competitive prices on the East Coast to start the new year.
