Chicago Police Seek Information on Red Line Robbery Suspects

CHICAGO, IL—The Chicago Police Department’s Bureau of Detectives – Area One issued a community alert seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a robbery. The incident occurred on May 23, at approximately 7:30 PM at the Red Line Lake Street stop, located at the 100 block of N. State Street.

According to police reports, the victim was on the train when they were approached and forcibly robbed by the suspects. The robbery was captured by CTA security cameras, which recorded images of the offenders.

The suspects are described as a male and a female, both African American, and approximately 18 years old. The Mass Transit Detectives are urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
