Christie Roleplayed Hillary Clinton For Donald Trump

October 2, 2023

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie divulged an unusual role he played during Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign: he acted as Hillary Clinton in closed-session debate preparations.

Christie made the revelation at a campaign town hall event in New Hampshire recently. According to the former governor, he also endorsed Trump first among 2016 candidates and served on several committees for the former president. In addition to his role as Clinton, Christie shared that he also played Joe Biden in 2020 debate prep sessions for Trump.

Regarding his current stance on Trump, Christie stated that he opposes the former president due to broken promises and incompetence. He claimed that Trump will face four criminal indictments by August and will be released on bail for criminal charges in the spring.

“I’m not some never Trumper,” said Christie. “I am against him because he let us down on the issues that he made his promises on. He has already proven he can’t do it.”

At present, Christie holds a 2% standing in the latest 2024 polls.
