Columbia Police Identify Victim Found Shot Inside Vehicle

Howard County, MD – The Howard County Police Department (HCPD) has identified the man found shot multiple times inside a vehicle in Columbia over the weekend.

On Monday, authorities confirmed the victim as 26-year-old Kendrick McLellan from Baltimore. HCPD reported that officers conducting routine checks in the 8800 block of Centre Park, near Howard High School, discovered McLellan dead in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle behind an office building around 2:15 a.m. on October 12.

As the investigation unfolds, HCPD is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. However, police have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including when it occurred.
