Columbus Police Arrest Suspect in Allegheny Avenue Shooting Incident

Columbus, OH – The Columbus Division of Police announced the arrest of a suspect in a shooting that occurred last October in the 3200 block of Allegheny Avenue.

On the morning of October 26, 2023, police were alerted to a walk-in shooting victim at Grant Medical Center. The victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound the previous day, survived the attack. Investigations led to the identification of Latifa Tolliver as the suspect.

Tolliver faces charges of Felonious Assault and Improperly Discharging a Firearm at or into a Habitation. She was apprehended by CPD SWAT officers on February 8, 2024, concluding a months-long investigation into the incident.
