Columbus Police Seek Assistance Identifying Suspects in Recent Shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Division of Police is requesting public assistance to identify two individuals linked to a violent shooting incident that occurred in the early morning of May 18. The incident, involving multiple gunshot victims, took place around 2:35 AM at the intersection of E. 5th Avenue and Summit Street.

Upon responding to several reports of gunfire, patrol officers discovered six individuals with gunshot wounds; three of whom succumbed to their injuries while the remaining three are currently receiving medical treatment and are expected to survive.

Authorities have urged anyone with information about the suspects or the shooting to contact Detective Poliseno at 614-645-6420 or via email at EPoliseno@columbuspolice.org. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
