Columbus Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Robbery Suspects

Columbus, OH – Detectives from the Columbus Division of Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify two suspects involved in an aggravated robbery.

On Sunday, at approximately 6:25 p.m., a victim was sitting in his vehicle when six suspects approached him. The suspects displayed handguns, demanded the vehicle, and then fled the scene in the victim’s car.

Shortly thereafter, patrol officers located the stolen vehicle and initiated a pursuit. This chase culminated in a crash in the downtown area, leading to the apprehension of four of the six suspects.

Police have released images of the two remaining suspects and are asking anyone with information regarding their identities to contact the Columbus Police Robbery Unit at 614-645-4665. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).

Photos of the suspects can be found on the Columbus Division of Police’s Facebook page. Detectives urge those with knowledge of the suspects to come forward to aid in the investigation.
