Kevin Kiley (R-Calif.) announced on Monday the introduction of the “No Medicaid for Illegal Immigrants Act,” legislation designed to prevent undocumented immigrants from accessing Medicaid benefits. Kiley argues that the bill would save California taxpayers billions annually while preserving healthcare resources for American citizens and legal residents.
In a statement posted to social media, Kiley called the proposal “common sense legislation,” emphasizing fiscal responsibility and fairness in how taxpayer-funded programs are allocated.
