TRENTON, NJ – In a bizarre twist of political theater, Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) has been unmasked as the mastermind behind a widely mocked series of videos featuring Democratic senators delivering near-identical, expletive-laden critiques of President Donald Trump.
The revelation came after Elon Musk, tech mogul-turned-political-commentator, dangled a Cybertruck as a bounty for proof of the script’s author—only for Booker himself to step forward with a surprising admission.
The saga began Tuesday morning when 22 Democratic senators, including heavyweights like Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Booker, posted eerily synchronized videos slamming Trump’s administration.
Each clip opened with Trump’s campaign promise to “bring prices down on Day One,” followed by the senators’ uniform retort: “Sh*t that ain’t true.”
The videos then devolved into a rote attack on Trump for pardoning January 6 rioters and on Musk for slashing government programs via his Department of Government Efficiency, all capped with accusations of favoring billionaire tax breaks.
Social media erupted, with critics—led by Musk—deriding the effort as a “cringe” and “staged” embarrassment. “Now we’re up to 22 Dem senators all doing the same cringe video simultaneously!” Musk posted on X at 12:42 PM EST. “I will buy a Cybertruck for anyone who can provide proof of who wrote this particular piece of propaganda.” The challenge sparked a frenzy, with X users pointing fingers at the Senate Democrats’ Strategic Communications Committee, chaired by none other than Booker.
