CUMBERLAND, Md. – A 26-year-old woman was arrested Sunday afternoon after police responded to a reported assault in the area of Broadway Circle, authorities said.

Officers arrived around 2:20 p.m. and spoke with the victim, who said they had been in an argument with Amber Marie Davis before being assaulted. Police noted visible injuries consistent with the victim’s account.
