Washington, D.C. – A man has been arrested for stealing over $3800 worth of merchandise, primarily Red Bull, from CVS locations in Northwest D.C.

On Monday, officers arrested 58-year-old Darryl Lamond Quander, who has no fixed address, based on a DC Superior Court arrest warrant. Quander is charged with 19 counts of Second-Degree Theft for multiple thefts from various CVS stores.

April 4: $166 of Red Bull from CVS on the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest
April 7: $273 of Starbucks products and Red Bull from CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest
April 9: $144 of Red Bull from CVS on the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest
April 13: An undetermined amount of Red Bull and dog food from CVS on the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest
April 21: $99.76 of Red Bull from CVS on the 1100 block of Vermont Ave, Northwest
April 22: $288 of household goods and shampoo from CVS on the 1000 block of 16th, Northwest
April 24: $258 of Red Bull from CVS on the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest

The D.C. Metro Police Department remains committed to preventing theft and holding offenders accountable. Witnesses of retail theft are advised not to intervene and to call 911.
