WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place early this afternoon in Southwest D.C.
Police responded to a shooting incident at the 400 block of Chesapeake Street, where they discovered an unconscious adult male and an unresponsive adult female. The injured man was swiftly transported to an area hospital for medical attention, while the unresponsive woman is currently being attended to at the scene.
Police issued a lookout for a blue sedan with a busted rear window.
