WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Seventh District is requesting public assistance in identifying a person of interest in connection with a shooting incident on Stanton Road in Southeast, D.C.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday, March 31, just after midnight, left a juvenile male with gunshot wounds. He was subsequently hospitalized for his injuries.

Authorities have obtained surveillance footage capturing the person of interest involved in the shooting.
