D.C. Police Search For Moped Bandits In Recent Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC—Local authorities request public assistance to identify suspects in a recent robbery in Northeast D.C. The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday last week.

At 12:25 AM, two men on a moped approached a victim at a bus stop on North Capitol Street. The suspects demanded the victim’s bag and proceeded to remove property from the victim’s pockets before fleeing with the items.

Surveillance footage capturing the suspects and their vehicle has been released in hopes of receiving tips from the public.
