DC man killed in early-morning crash on Piney Branch Road

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – A 55-year-old Washington, D.C. man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash in Prince George’s County that occurred last week.

The crash happened on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at approximately 3:15 a.m., near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Piney Branch Road. Police say Ken Washington was driving east on Piney Branch Road when he lost control of his sedan for unknown reasons and veered off the roadway.

Washington was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Prince George’s County police are urging anyone with information about the crash to contact their Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
