GLOUCESTER CO., VA – This morning, at approximately 9:15 AM, a fatal crash was reported on Route 17 in Gloucester County. A 2014 Honda Civic, traveling northbound near the intersection with Wood Cross Road, veered off the left side of the road and collided with a tree in the median.
The driver, a 43-year-old male from Gloucester County, was pronounced dead at the scene despite wearing a seatbelt. Virginia State Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
